Terrific Times Two! Harley and Hemi are 9 year old littermates in need of their true forever home. The brothers each weigh about 100 pounds. They are up to date on vaccines but both would benefit from a veterinary wellness exam. Not much to ask of someone who will in exchange for good care, receive the love and loyalty of not one but two wonderful dogs!

We are told the boys are good with other dogs and very good with gentle kids. Their former human had an “outdoor” cat but it is unknown how’d they would react to a cat who gets to live inside with them. And these boys do need to live indoors with their people. Harley and Hemi can reportedly manage quite a while before they need a potty break. Harley is the yellow lab, Hemi is the black lab. Hemi has some fatty lumps as well as arthritis in his knee. At this time he’s not taking anything for his arthritis but one would hope his adopter would have that checked out by a vet and get both dogs on something to support good joint health. Hemi and Harley are able to take stairs at this time but as they age, this could become difficult. They are big dogs who would be too heavy to carry up and downstairs.

The pair enjoy walks.  Harley loves to play ball and plays with toys but Hemi doesn’t. Hemi sounds like the more “chill” of the pair; he moves slower.  Harley can act more like a puppy. They are very loving dogs who are in need of a home with someone who will commit to giving them a home together and lifelong veterinary care.

Harley and Hemi are posted for their owner in Lakewood, WA. For contact information please email: referrals@olddoghaven.org

These are not ODH dogs; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
