Harriet

10-year-old Harriet is longing for a loving home and family to call her own. She is an ADORABLE 6-pound Chihuahua. Her foster calls her spicy but loving, and that is a perfect description of this little girl. Harriet is a tender-hearted girl who just wants to belong. Her online profile states she is good with cats; dogs are unknown.

This little cutie is ready to go when you are. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch or going for a drive, Harriet is the best sidekick. She also loves going for walks in the neighborhood and might even like trail walking. She has shown good house manners but, with the rainy season upon us, she needs a little convincing to potty outside.

Harriet, like most Chihuahuas, bonds quickly with one person. She has shown some fear when it comes to men, but she is slowly learning that they are pretty cool…especially when they come bearing snacks. Harriet will need a patient family willing to give her the time she needs to adapt to her new home and surroundings. A calm, predictable routine will be an amazing start and exactly what Harriet needs. Because of her sensitive nature, a home with children may be out of the question.
