Jody, a senior Pomeranian, arrived at a local shelter in terrible shape. She had clearly been neglected for some time and was underweight, flea-infested and covered in painful sores all over her body. The shelter staff reached out to Old Dog Haven to find Jody a safe, loving family where she would receive the medical care, she needed to regain her health.
We are happy to report that Jody has fit right into her new home and has proven to be the perfect house guest. This adorable lady is very quiet and has yet to bark but she does become very playful and excited at mealtimes. Although she is small, Jody has a hearty appetite, and her foster family is working on helping her gain and stabilize her weight. Despite all that she has been through, Jody remains a friendly girl who loves everyone she meets. You will often find her snuggled up on the couch in between both of her foster parents or fast asleep in her soft, comfortable bed next to her foster siblings.
Jody’s foster mom says they feel very lucky to have her as part of the family. We are so happy that Jody will now receive the unconditional love and comfort that every old dog deserves, and your support helps make that possible!
