Isn’t Koda a handsome boy? This 8 year old boy is best friend material for sure! He is a large dog weighing between 95-100 pounds. Koda has been an active dog; hiking, swimming, traveling with his person. Because he is big and strong, Koda’s adopter should be strong enough to handle him.

Currently Koda lives with another dog. He has always done well meeting and living with other dogs. But of course one should do proper introduction and integrate Koda into the home and pack for a smooth transition. Koda has never lived with a cat. We are told he has been good with kids but because of his size, it would be best if the children in his family were older.

When Koda isn’t exploring with his person, he is good to stay home and behave himself. He should have a home with a securely fenced yard. There has not been much vetting for Koda so his adopter should be prepared to have him vetted and provide his regular vet care and good quality dog food. Koda will make it worth your while!   His owner says Koda always makes a good impression on people. He says that “he is not easily forgotten because he is so personable and easy going”.

Koda is located in Index, WA. For more information about Koda, please email: referrals@olddoghaven.org.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
