When one asks Siri, “Who is a good boy?” Siri would surely answer, “Here is Leo, a good boy”.

Meet Leo, a 10-year-old yellow lab who weighs 77 pounds. We are told Leo loves all people, he loves kids, he is good with cats, and he is good with other dogs, too. Need we say more?!

Leo still has puppy energy; he’s a lab through and through. Chasing a ball is one of Leo’s favorite pastimes. When it’s time for a walk, he is ready! Leo is reported to be great on leash. Leo knows some basic commands: “shake, roll over, sit, lay down.” We would bet this smart boy could learn more and enjoy the time learning with his new people. Leo just loves attention.

Leo’s current family does not go off to work every day, so it is not known how he does in the house for long hours. He can manage about 4 hours before he needs a potty break. When he is not exercising or hanging outside, Leo likes to crash on his bed in the living room. Leo is not an “outside dog”. We are told that Leo does not bark much at all. At this time Leo can still manage stairs.

This special boy needs a home with someone who will take good care of him to help keep him around for years to come. Leo needs a home with a commitment to regular veterinary care and good-quality dog food. Continuing to maintain a healthy weight and keeping him moving will help as well.

If you know and love labs or would like to have the opportunity to, Leo needs you!

Leo is located in Camas, WA. For contact information please email: referrals@olddoghaven.org
