Lily came from the shelter with many issues: missing the front part of her lower jaw, rotten teeth, both kneecaps out of place, heart disease, and mammary masses. Lily has seen a dental specialist and cardiologist and is on pain medication to help with her joints. Despite her issues, she is a happy, super-sweet dog who likes to be with her foster mom, following her from room to room or sitting by her side. When it’s time to turn in for the night, Lily is always the first to race to bed and dive under the covers, where she hardly stirs all night. She’s a very precious addition to her family of two other tiny Final Refuge chihuahuas and the resident cat.

Update:  After 4 amazing years sweet Lily passed away suddenly just a day after one of her tiny foster sisters. Lily was a very special little girl and will be greatly missed.
