“My Name Is LUCY!

I am described as sweet 8 year old Yellow Labrador/Boxer Mix.

I LOVE the rain and a run or hike in this wet stuff suits me just fine!

I have been told I would do well with an active family (walks, runs, hikes) and another canine member as I prefer having another pack member to sleep and play with. I enjoy children and I am also housetrained. I am good on a leash, and I seem to get along well with dogs and cats.

I am a very spry 8 year old who loves a game of fetch (tennis balls are the best!) or a chew toy. I visited two vet offices recently to get a tune up and I was told I am a good girl who sits or lies down as people, dogs, cats and children come and go around me.

I do crate, but I’d prefer to be with my family and not left alone for a long period of time. I also could easily jump a fence if I am left out by myself, I REALLY LOVE Squirrels and will do most anything to get to one. A 6′ fence is required per my rescue and I shouldn’t be left out alone just in case one of those little furry things with tails decides to taunt me.

I love car rides and settle down pretty quickly, although if given the opportunity to ride shot gun I would! I know sit, stay, shake, down, kennel up, lay down, and heal, phew that’s a lot!

I’ve had all of my vaccinations, I am spayed, micro-chipped and I’ve had my senior geriatric blood panel (I really don’t feel like a senior).

I’m ready to go into my new home and can’t wait to start enjoying my new family!”

Lucy is a cross post for Charlie’s Foundation. She is being fostered in a Charlie’s Foundation foster home located in Seattle, WA.
