My name is Stanley! Everybody says I look like a mini Lab because I only weigh about 30 pounds, but I am a Lab mix. I am about 13 years old but I got a lot of spunk. I’m actually pretty active and I love to run and play in the yard. I like chillin with other dogs too. There are all kinds of dogs big and small in my foster home and I love em all. I live with cats but I do like to chase them on occasion. It’s just so fun when they run, I can’t help myself. I like kids but older kids would be more my style. Nobody ever taught me how to walk on a leash. I always had a yard to play in but if you want to teach me I promise I will do my best to learn. As long as I am with you I’m happy so I bet I would love taking walks with you. I really like to be right with my person. Sometimes if I can’t see you or I’m not near you I get a little anxious and bark so apartment living is probably not for me and a home where my person is home with me most of the time would be the best. I am used to sleeping on the bed with my person so I’m looking for a family who would be okay with that too. Sometimes I have a hard time walking on floors without rugs or carpet but my foster mom just puts down rugs for me and I am totally fine. I am really good at going up and down stairs. I like to play with my stuffy toys, I love to play fetch and I am happy to be your snuggle up movie buddy on rainy days. I am totally potty trained. I can go about 4 hours during the day without a potty break and I sleep through the night about 8 hours without a potty break. I have had a full check up and the vet says I’m in great health. I am neutered, up to date on vaccinations and I even got a dental so my teeth are now shiny and pretty. I like to ride in the car, I love people and other dogs, I’m pretty handsome AND I promise if you adopt me I will be the bestest most loyal friend you have ever had.

If you are interested in meeting or adopting me you can fill out an application right here and my case manager will contact you.

Stanley is posted for Rescued Hearts Northwest and is fostered in Ferndale WA.

THIS IS NOT AN ODH DOG; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
