10 year old Molly was purchased as a puppy for  a woman with Dementia.  The story is that Molly sat on the woman’s lap most of the day and they looked out the picture window in the front room, together.  While this may have been nice for her owner, it did Molly no favors. Since her person passed away, Molly has had a very difficult time adjusting to the changes in her life.  She has been in her foster home for quite a long time in order to attend to her medical needs and to help her adjust to a different sort of life in a different environment.

Molly’s rescuers believe that she is ready to be put up for adoption now.  She has found her “voice” and her place in her foster home with three other dogs and her human.

Molly loves to be cuddled, running in the backyard, and a good meal.  She is an active girl, not surprising as she is what we consider to be a “young” senior!  Molly jumps around like a bunny when something excites her.  She is fine with other dogs, not so great on a leash, and so far has not shown interest in toys.

Molly is very aware of and interested in her surroundings and she likes to communicate with barking.  She has deep brown eyes that melt your heart and is a wonderful companion. As a small cuddler, she wants to sleep in bed with you.  That’s a deal breaker for Molly. This pretty girl is ready for her true forever home.

Molly is posted for Rebecca’s Rainbow. She is being fostered in Kirkland, WA. For contact information please email: elleny@comcast.net

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
