ODH Home Needed for Gwen – Lab Mix Girl

PERMANENT ODH FOSTER HOME NEEDED: Spayed female lab mix, very thin at 53#, probably 13 years old. This old girl came into the shelter in very bad shape: besides being really thin, her skin and ears have chronic damage from yeast and infection – allergy perhaps? She also has two large masses that are probably benign lipomas but we don’t know for sure. She is good on leash, friendly to people (even the vet staff!), a little forward with our “tester” dog but quickly accepted correction and went on her way. Family said that she was attacked by a dog years ago and is still afraid of BIG dogs but clearly fine with smaller ones. She needs to get out of the shelter and into an ODH home with someone willing to take on the project to fix up her skin and ears (and of course fatten her up which is much easier and more fun!).
