ODH home needed for Olaf – Pom/Eskie Boy
Easy going and good with other dogs
PERMANENT ODH FOSTER HOME NEEDED: Pom (mix with eskie?) neutered male, very very fat at 33#. This beautiful but OBESE little fellow came into the shelter when his owner went to a care facility and is confused about what’s happened to him and not anxious to be outside without his temporary foster. He has good potty manners, however, and is good with the resident dog and a much bigger visitor – even wanting to play, showing good skills with other dogs. His has a moderate heart murmur and a cough that seems to be tracheal; we’ll want to investigate both. He may be hypothyroid which would explain some of the excess weight! He’s missing many teeth and may need the rest removed. We hope to quickly find an ODH home that can get started on weight loss (to make him MUCH healthier) and his other issues. Please let us know if he might be a good fit for you.–
