ODH Home Needed for Pebbles and Snickers – Bonded Chihuahuas – Girl and Boy
Best buddies ready for a safe, loving home!
PERMANENT FOSTER HOME FOR TWO NEEDED: Spayed female chihuahua, plump at 10#, and neutered male chihuahua 15#. These two cuties would so much like to have a home together after a scary time and now the shelter. Little Pebbles has a mild heart murmur/enlarged heart but bloodwork is OK; she may have some problems with vaginal infections. She is a quiet, submissive little girl who met our “tester” dog and volunteers fine. Snickers is much more sociable and active, thinks everyone is his friend – but really does need a dog buddy to feel safe in a new situation. His vision seems somewhat limited so he’s careful with his steps; he has a pretty big heart murmur, a cough, what seems to be an inguinal hernia, and long-ago ruptured cruciates so lame in the back legs. His spirit is high but his body has its challenges. We would LOVE to get them into a home and out of the shelter quickly, with good vet care for both.
