Oso is an adorable little fella who thinks that everyone is his friend. Oso is an 8 year old, 17 pound yorkie and shih tzu mix. He is friendly and outgoing and is ready for his next adventure.

Oso has lived with other dogs and would probably enjoy another doggie playmate. His history with cats is unknown but his rescuers believe he would probably be ok with a confident dog savvy cat. Because of the quick and unpredictable nature of young children his rescuers are asking for a home without children under 8 years of age.

Oso loves going for walks and would love a family willing to take him on daily walkabouts through the neighborhood. He would enjoy a securely fenced yard where he can soak up the sunshine while breathing in the fresh air. He would also love a family that isn’t gone for the long work day..this guy loves having his people around. Oso has great house manners but, because he will bark to alert his people, apartment life isn’t for him.

Oso recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines.
