Oso is a male 14-15 year old full blooded American Eskimo who weighs about 30 pounds. He sleeps a lot during the day but goes in his crate at night. Oso  loves to go on walks on his leash but must be protected from the sun and will bark at any oncoming dogs, He also loves to go for rides in the car & is very well behaved. He would do well with another small female dog, but no males. Oso  seems indifferent to cats. Older, respectful children would be okay.

Oso is losing his hearing but will obey if he can hear you or you give hand signals. He is very food motivated and loves his meal and treats but will get “grabby” if other dogs are around. He has been diagnosed with Lupus and is currently on Vitamin E, Melatonin and Salmon Oil. He previously had been taking Cyclosporine but it had a serious side effect affecting his gums and teeth resulting in the loss of several teeth. Lupus is the reason he must be protected from the sun.
