“Just look at me, all cute and cuddly. I made my way to ODH in mid-March after a heck of an adventure, but am so happy to be part of the ODH pack now, and I am adjusting quite nicely in my new ODH final refuge home.

“I came to ODH when my family could no longer care for me.  My new home has a big fenced yard, and is a quiet calm place to enjoy my golden years. I live in something called a multigenerational home, so I have a mom and dad, plus a grandma and grandpa, and another senior dog named Ladybug (who smells dreamy, if I’m being honest). Ladybug also seems to understand that I don’t mean to invade her space, and reminds me she is there, so I can go in a different direction.

“All that is left now is to learn some leash manners, and deal with some overdue medical issues.

“Although I was already blind in both eyes, one was really bothering me, so a nice doctor removed it for me. The other eye still allows some light, which makes my FR homies very happy, because it helps with circadian rhythm, letting me sleep peacefully though the night. The nice doctor also “fixed me”, whatever that means, and removed a bothersome tumor near my tail. And while they say my blood work looks good at this point, there are still some mystery medical issues to sort out, before we are totally on the path of fun and cuddles. My tummy is upset a lot, but I am just sure we will get it all sorted out. Fortunately my foster family is extremely patient and has experience with blind dogs, so I am in good hands.

“Oh, one more thing to know about me…I look forward to almost anything that involves being the center of attention!”
