Patches

Patches is an 8-year-old, 25-pound Boston terrier gentleman. He is very handsome and sweet. Patches is what they call a “splash Boston”. His markings are reversed, with more white on his body and splashes of black!

Patches enjoys being with an active family, going for walks, some hiking, and a secure yard to play in. He has wonderful house manners. He is house trained and can be left alone for brief periods of time with run of the house without issues. Patches is happy to go in the car on a road trip with you. Patches enjoys being included on social outings with his family.

Patches is good with other dogs. He would love an easy-going dog friend. He would need a slow introduction in a home with cats, as he can be inclined to chase. The same goes for rabbits, squirrels, and chickens. The terrier in him will come out, and the chase will be on. It sounds to us like a home without any of those animals would be best.

Patches is a great snuggle buddy on the couch, and would love to share your bed too. His ideal home would consist of someone who works from home or has the ability to take him to work. Possibly go to doggy daycare while you are working. He should not be left unattended for more than 3-4 hours. A home with a fenced yard is a must, as he enjoys running around and sunning himself.

Experience with Boston terriers or French bulldogs is always a plus. Patches is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. At this time, there are no health issues, but as Bostons age, they can have specific health needs; you should be willing to commit to care should health issues arise. They are more than cute little dogs!
