A loving homebody!

8 year old Purdy is a beautiful lady who will melt your heart with just one look.  She is a 78 pound Bloodhound. Purdy is loving and sweet and she is dreaming of a family that will cherish her for the rest of her life. This dear girl is tender-hearted and bonds strongly with her people…she loves to be loved!  If you are looking for a loyal companion who will be your best friend then Purdy is the one for you!  Purdy enjoys the comforts of home more than she enjoys going on adventures.  She is a true homebody.  Purdy will need a securely fenced property so that her nose doesn’t take her on adventures and no dog doors for this girl.

Purdy has impeccable house manners.  She is housebroken, quiet unless she feels the need to alert her people and she is great in the car.  Purdy loves everyone and is great with children. She would be happiest in a home where she will be someone’s one and only dog.  Purdy is very respectful of the cats in her foster home and, although she might try to play chase, she would be fine in a home with them.
