Rosie
Lovely 'Golden' girl
Rosie is a large golden retriever who was turned in to the shelter, obviously a breeding dog who was no longer useful. ODH took Rosie in and finally got this old gal spayed, removed mammary tumors that fortunately were benign, and gave her some much needed medicine for her arthritis. Rosie’s lost some weight and now enjoys trying to keep up with her much younger golden sister as well as a good ear scratch.
Update: Rosie had 14 months with her ODH family before cancer overcame her. She was very much loved and will be so missed. Please support Morris Animal Foundation’s Canine Cancer Initiative to fight this disease that kills so many – especially golden retrievers.
