11 year old Roxy is a lovely 62 pound brindle mixed breed girl. She is described as being “loving, snuggly and playful”. Roxy is said to do well with cats, other large dogs and older children.

Roxy is ready for a family that has more time to spend with her. She loves going for walks. Roxy is good on leash. She went through training as a puppy and is reportedly still very trainable.
Roxy sounds like a girl who will be a lot of fun!

At this time Roxy can manage stairs. She can manage quite a while between potty breaks. Her people state she can stay alone in her home as needed without issue. She is not much of a barker though she will bark to be let into the house after she’s done her business outside or when someone has arrived at your home.

Roxy has a large benign growth on her back and one on her leg as well. Her owners will share vet records with potential adopters. As with every adoption, we stress the importance of regular veterinary care and good quality dog food and the ability to provide both for the life of a dog. Giving a dog this could extend their lives which means more time with a beloved family member.

Family health issues have made it necessary to rehome Roxy. She is a truly wonderful dog who needs an adoptive home soon.

Roxy is located in Mt. Vernon, WA. For contact information please email: referrals@olddoghaven.org

Roxy is not an Old Dog Haven dog. Old Dog Haven has not assessed this dog for medical issues and will not be responsible for medical care after adoption. We urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
