Sammie and Gus
Loving and cuddly duo
“Hi there, hoomans! We are Sammie and Gus and we need your help. Our story is a sad one, our hooman mom had us from when we were puppies but due to health issues had to give us up. We have been together our whole lives and are looking for a home where we can continue to be best buds. Mum says we are sweet lap dogs who love to give kisses, and are very loving and cuddly. We enjoy occasional walks and sniffing around the yard but don’t require a lot of exercise – we are getting a little up there in years after all! We are miniature pinschers; Sammie is the lovely red girl who is 12 years old. Gus is 10 years old and he’s a handsome black and tan boy.
“Our ideal home would be quiet, with adults only as we have never been around kids. Mum worked regular days but we would really prefer to have our people home most of the time – we can hang out in a crate together when left home, though. We have gotten along with other dogs belonging to friends and family after some introductions but we do like to bark at the kitties – it’s so much fun to see them puff up and get hissy! We do need some work on our teeth, but other than that we still have lot of love to give. Stop by to visit with us today!”
Gus and Sammie are posted for the Humane Society for Tacoma and Pierce County. For more information about them, please stop by the shelter or go to the website at www.thehumanesociety.org for more information about the adoption process.
These are not ODH dogs; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
