Shadow (Poodle)

At age 13, Shadow was left at a shelter by his owner who then announced it to ODH, hoping  we would give him a home.    We did find a Final Refuge home where he settled in very quickly, so happy to be wanted and safe again.    He’s a basically healthy fellow with impeccable manners who adores his ODH mom.    When another ODH poodle was added to the family he sulked for a bit and then decided that he could enjoy the company – ever the well behaved sort.

He’s enjoying being a bit spoiled and making friends everywhere he goes.

Update:  After a wonderfully long time in his Final Refuge home (over 3 years), it was finally time to say good bye to dear Shadow.  He was his mom’s little shadow and will be greatly missed.
