Suzy is a 12 year old chihuahua who was brought to a vet clinic by her former owner for euthanasia. Staff at the clinic didn’t believe it was Suzy’s “time” so they offered to take her and find her an adoptive home.

At 8 pounds, Suzy prefers dogs her size; she’s not keen on large dogs. She has reportedly lived with cats and does just fine with them. Suzy would do best in a home with kids aged 6 and over.

Clinic staff says that Suzy has been fine staying alone at the clinic, requiring a potty break every 6 hours or so. Suzy can do stairs and she doesn’t require a lot of exercise. We are told she is good on leash and she’s not a barky girl.

Suzy is described as “calm and affectionate”. She sounds like a really nice dog, don’t you agree? We can understand why the nice folks at the vet clinic didn’t want to send her on. Suzy has her second chance at love and life in a home, the right person just needs to find her!

Suzy is located in Kirkland, WA.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
