Tucci

Tucci is a sweet, frail little dog with an eagerness and enthusiasm for life that’s truly inspiring and heartwarming. He loves being outside, poking around the yard or laying in the sun. He enjoys getting out for short walks even though one kneecap is permanently out of place and the other pops in and out, giving him a shuffling, hobbled gait.

Tucci always gives me a fun welcome home, doing a happy dance with a toy in his mouth. So far he has not barked even once, but he knows how to get attention in his own quiet way with an insistent, irresistible stare.

Under ODH’s care, Tucci has received a thorough medical checkup, ultrasound, and echocardiogram. He’s on medication and supplements to help with his joints and keep him comfortable.

Update:  After such a wonderful time in his forever home, little Tucci’s health failed him and we had to say goodbye.  This dear boy will be greatly missed and we are comforted to know he has such loving, caring last chapter.
