Waylon

Waylon is a happy-go-lucky 9 year old neutered Red Coon Hound mix. His tripod status doesn’t slow him down one bit, and is able to go up and down stairs and jump into cars on his own.  He was surrendered through no fault of his own as his owner can no longer care for him. Waylon is 90 pounds of love but should lose a bit of weight to ease the pressure on his joints.

Waylon is great with other dogs but he’s a little too interested in cats, so a cat-free home would probably be best. Waylon would be happiest in a home with enough space to move around freely. He loves long brisk walks and is quite eager to get out and about. His rescuers are working on his leash skills. Waylon is a curious hound and his nose tends to lead him off property so a fenced yard is a must.

Waylon can’t wait to meet his forever people. His adorable smile and loving energy will win over many hearts.
