Yzma was turned into a shelter as a stray after having litters of puppies  over the years. This girl needed plenty of medical care including a spay surgery and mammary mass removal, dental work and treatment for kidney disease.

Old Dog Haven stepped in to find Yzma a forever final refuge home and almost three years later, this happy girl has a dramatically different life. She now receives excellent vet care and is closely monitored for her late stage kidney disease. Yzma now spends her days running with her pack on her property, swimming in the pond and always helps her mom feed the farm animals.

This 14 year old girl still acts like a puppy and really prefers to snuggle and sit on your lap if you let her.  Yzma’s final refuge family is grateful that she will always receive the care and love she deserves for the rest of her days!

Update:  After almost three years in her new, loving home, we had to say goodbye to Yzma.  She relished living on the farm and even became best buddies with a little piglet.  A truly lovely girl who will be greatly missed.
