Alonso had been with his Final Refuge family for two years when his body just gave out.    His Cushings disease was well under control, but he’d seemingly had one stroke and then must have had another.     Our old guy with the puppy-like rollicking moments of play knew he was becoming helplessly weak and it was time.     He will be remembered with a big smile, the gorgeous one-of-a-kind dog who was so different from the dog who arrived from the shelter.
