Beau

I am about 8 years old (my weight is 68 pounds) and I have spent most of my life at the end of a chain. At the shelter I have a nice roomy kennel with indoor and outdoor space. I get to run in the huge play yards without even a leash. I finally know what it feels like to be free! I walk very politely on leash without pulling too much. I really want to have a new home where I am the only dog. I do play in the yard with a very nice female but would prefer to be an only dog in my new home. I impressed the people here at the kennel by responding when they asked me to do a sit and a down. I guess they can see that I really am a smart, sweet dog. I’m ready to work with you if you have time and love enough to teach me how to be an even better friend and companion.
