Billy Bob, a min pin, showed up at a shelter as a VERY old man, emaciated and very weak and uncoordinated. One of our foster families took him home for what was expected to be a week or two of hospice care. This little guy, however, proved to be way tougher and more resilient than we expected! After gaining weight and brightening up he moved to a Final Refuge home where he became one of a little pack, loved being cuddled and coddled and wrapped in blankets.

He had a grand renaissance until suddenly he collapsed with pneumonia and several systems failing, and was sent on his way with a tremendous amount of love. Father Time is undefeated but little Billy Bob surely stayed as long as he could.
