Chloe finally has a forever home and now she’s getting the care and love she needs. The vet spotted kidney disease so she’s now on a prescription diet and she has two masses that will be removed when she’s settled in and strong enough to have a dental.

Here’s what Chloe’s Old Dog Haven Forever Foster (Final Refuge) shared with us about Chloe:

“Chloe is slowly settling in and starting to trust us. She loves comfy beds even if they are way too small for her. The first time we put her on the couch she was very happy but also hesitant—she wasn’t sure if it was okay for her to be there.

“We love watching Chloe bound down the hallway because she’s so excited for a treat—it’s so dang cute. Our kitchen floors are now always clean, thanks to Chloe’s clean up efforts. And besides treats, she absolutely loves to have her back scratched.

“She desperately wants to have her belly rubbed as well, but she’s not quite ready to be that vulnerable with us yet.”

Update:  Chloe really enjoyed her last chapter with a very loving family.  In a short period of time this special girl became one of the family and soaked up lots of loving, good food and the very best care.  Very sadly, her family had to say goodbye when her health failed.  She will be greatly  missed.
