Corky is a spry and very charming 12 yr old Jack Russell Terrier who weighs 22 pounds. He is need of a forever home in the Seattle area.

Corky must be an only dog. It is best he is placed in a home with no other dogs, animals or small children. This is not negotiable. Corky lived with elderly people all his life so he did not get proper socialization with other animals.

He is an easy-going guy who enjoys hanging out at home with his people. He loves to go on lots of walks, so an active retiree or work from home person would be ideal.

Corky is a reactive dog and despite training, he has not made any progress. He will always have to redirected when out on walks and can never come close to other dogs under any circumstances. Corky would love for his new family to continue to keep him safe by learning how to manage and navigate his walks. Saving Our Seniors will provide his adoptive family this training.

Corky is in good health. He has a history of seizures which is managed with daily medication. The cause of Corky’s seizures are unknown. Corky is housetrained and walks very well on a leash. His fosters have noticed him to be very adaptable in all situations from riding in the car, meeting new people and being exposed to new environments and situations in small doses. It is like seeing everything for the first time in his life! He is attentive and curious which is the beautiful nature of the Jack Russell breed. Jack Russell Terrier experience is a huge plus! Corky is very ready to move forward into the next chapter of his life. Please help make his Christmas wish come true!

Corky is posted for Saving Our Seniors (SOS). He is in a foster home in Seattle, WA.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation
