Dakota

Dakota is a lovely 8 year old German shepherd whose loving owner has sadly passed away. She has lived with a dog in the past and might enjoy a buddy who can bring some calm into her life but she will need a meet and greet with any dogs in a potential adopter’s home. Dakota would love an active home where she could go running or hiking and she loves going for car rides. She might be shy at first but her tender heart warms up quickly. The shelter recommends that any children in the home be over the age of 12 because Dakota still has a lot of energy and could knock a small child down.
