Echo
A very special boy and enjoys walks
Echo is a unicorn. This gentlemanly 9-year-old Aussie is kennel trained, leash trained, potty trained, super people friendly even with kids (appropriately respectful kids of course), dog-friendly, appropriately curious about small animals (neutral about cows), neutered and up to date on vaccines. And he is incredibly good looking! What more could you want?
As a young senior, Echo is moderately active and enjoys leisurely walks. He enjoys playing an easy game of ball—you gently toss or roll it and he brings it back. Over and over again. He rides well in the car. He has some arthritis (don’t we all) and would prefer a ramp to get up to higher cars but has no problem with standard vehicles. A leg injury from his youth gives him a slight limp in a back leg and his foster home has him on various joint supplements. His future family should be willing and able to do the same to keep him enjoying the many years ahead.
Echo is a full-sized Aussie, in fact he is a bit bigger than most, weighing in at about 55 pounds. Someone will be so grateful for the opportunity to bring this lovely dog into your home!
Echo is posted for the Western Australian Shepherd Rescue. He is being fostered in Portland, Oregon. For more information about Echo email: westernaussierescue@gmail.com
