From the Final Refuge Family:

Frank had a difficult life before coming to Old Dog Haven.  He had been adopted and returned to a shelter at least 3 times (through no fault of his own).  The last time his owner was moving out of state.  Frank is about 14 years old and was very shy at first. He arrived with chronic ear infections, limited vision and skin issues.  With excellent vet care (thanks to Old Dog Haven), some good baths and a change in diet, Frank is now feeling much better!

With time, Frank began to relax and enjoy the farm which is his new home. He loves trotting in the fields, and watching the chickens. He seems very comfortable with everyone, including his Final Refuge sisters, but his first love is his “dad” and he follows him everywhere!  He enjoys car rides, good food, and a long nap in the sun.

Frank is a kind, gentle boy, and such a wonderful addition to his Final Refuge family! We want to thank Old Dog Haven for giving Frank a home with us, and hope he will be here for a very long time. We love every minute we get to spend with this dog!

Update:  Dear Frank lived to be a very old boy and enjoyed his time with his Final Refuge family to the fullest.  He truly had the best last chapter and was very much loved.  And, he was the best ‘shop dog’ for his dad!
