“Hi Everyone,

My name is Gracie Lou. I’m an 8 year old bichon frise who weighs 11 pounds. After a very rough start in life, I found a great home but then my adoptive mom passed away. I was heartbroken and thought I’d never be the same ever again. Furbaby Rescue has given me hope and explained that it can be good again so I’m now thinking positive thoughts.

“Oh, you want to know more? Let’s see. I love to cuddle. I’m so animated that you could use me to do a cartoon series. I’m happy go lucky, curious about everything and I’ll always want to be with you. If you adopt me you’ll find that I’m shy for a day or two and then once I know I’m home for good, we’ll be inseparable. If you ever get upset or ill, I’ll sense it and be there for you all the way. That’s just the way I am.

“I love to run and play and I will need a securely fenced yard because I like to go visiting the neighbors which isn’t the safest thing for me to do. At least not without you along. I love to sleep in bed with my human….hint, hint, hint.  One last thing. Because I started out life in a puppy mill and then the shelter, whenever I change homes I do need someone patient enough to show me when and how they want me to go potty outside. I always get it but it might take a few days. Treats work wonders as a reward for a “job” well done outdoors. And bonus I have had all medical taken care of, radiographs, dental (I did loose several teeth) bloodwork, shots, microchipping, so I am now in great shape.

What do you think? Wouldn’t a cute, adorable, lovable bichon make your life happier? I know you could make my life better and happier.”

Gracie Lou is a cross post for Furbaby Rescue. She is being fostered in Kirkland, WA.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
