Hunter is a 9-year-old, very well behaved, Jack Russell terrier who through no fault of his own is in need of a new home and family.  This little man is SMART and very healthy! He is housebroken, likes to ride in the car, is fine with kids 9 years and over, and loves his daily four mile walk. He’s great on a leash!

Hunter has been living with a border collie and they get along great. Structured introductions to new dogs would be important; Hunter’s tendency is to bark at new people and dogs, however he settles right down.

He cannot be with any cats and he does need secure fencing. When the neighborhood cats try to taunt Hunter, he tries to get out. Although not utilized anymore, Hunter is familiar with a crate. He knows not to jump on furniture, but with his little Terrier personality, he does sneak onto his favorite comfy chair when no one is there.

Hunter is posted for Second Chance Dogs and is being fostered in Graham, WA.

THIS IS NOT AN ODH DOG; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
