Kura is a 11 year old, 10 pound pug mix that has a wonderful personality! She was very timid when coming into rescue, but is really coming out of her shell more and more. She adores attention and love and is happiest when next to her human. Kura is in a home with 2 other dogs, but does not seem to have any interest in them at all, she is not bothered by sharing a kennel or space.

Kura absolutely loves to play with toys. We have an array of small ropes, squeaky toys, and balls for her. When she had her teeth extractions her toys had to take away from her while she healed for 2 weeks. Kura apparently had a stash somewhere because she kept popping up with toys all over the house!

Kura came to Pacific Pug Rescue from an older woman with dementia where she was allowed to potty in the house, because of this Kura does not have perfect potty manners. She is doing better but still having accidents. She will also nervous potty, if she feels that she is in trouble she will run away and pee at the same time. This has happened a few times and her rescue foster is working on her confidence to see improvement in this.

Kura is a snuggle bug. She absolutely loves people and getting pets. She loves riding in the car as long as she is not in a kennel. Kura is the sweetest thing. She will literally stare at her people with adoration.

Kura is located in Portland Oregon with Pacific Pug Rescue. If you are interested in learning more please email adoptions@pacificpugrescue.org
