Lolli

Lolli is a 15 1/2 year old Brussel Griffon.  When her life-long owner had to go to senior living, she had to rehome Lolli. Lolli was harassed by larger dogs in the new home and her spirit was broken.

She moved again and was not a priority in that home. Finally she ended up back with her original owner who was unable to keep up with her care. When this person passed away recently, Lolli was kept alone in the home for a week while family fed her.  A family friend contacted Old Dog Haven for help and a home was found.

Lolli went straight to a vet to get checked out.  She has infections in both ears which is being treated; testing is scheduled for suspected Cushing and thryroid soon. Needed vaccines, tests and x-rays were done.  She has several ulcerated tumors and when those are removed, she will also have a dental.

Though her medical list is long, she is a real sweetheart. Lolli was very skittish and untrusting but is already coming around. She has two dog sisters and a dog brother in her forever foster home. Lolli is very loved and we hope she has some good quality time left.

Update:  After only 11 weeks little Lolli had to leave.  She was very old with lots of health issues but we are grateful that she had so much love and care for her last chapter.
