Momo is an 8 year old male Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix who weighs about 11 pounds.

He is a special young senior seeking a committed adopter! Momo had a rough start in life, but he is ready to put the past behind him and find the perfect forever home. Momo is a shy guy and takes time to warm up to new people. Once he is comfortable, he demands lots of cuddles and affection. He enjoys trips to the beach to look for barnacles, walks in the park, and using his puppy dog eyes to beg for snacks. Mo has the perfect level of energy–he is up for a walk or adventure and then ready to relax on the couch at home.

Momo would like to have another dog that he can snuggle with and lie on top of–he knows no boundaries with his canine friends. He has not been cat tested. No small children, please. Momo can stay in his crate during the day, but prefers to sleep in bed at night.

Momo has had extensive medical care to get him ready for adoption, but he still has a chronic medical issue, due to the neglect he suffered in the past. He will need regular maintenance of his anal glands to prevent infection, so his adopter should be prepared for that.

Earn Momo’s trust, and you will have a feisty little friend for life! Momo will reward your dedication with cuddles, woo woos, and love.

Momo is posted for Smidget Rescue. He is being fostered in Burien, WA. For more information about Momo and how to adopt him, please email smidgetrescue@hotmail.com

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
