Mouse
Playful and well-mannered
Have a heart for Havanese??
Mouse is a 9-pound Havanese who is about 10 years old.
Mouse is currently in the care of Western Australian Shepherd Rescue.
No, she’s not an Aussie, but she is a sweet dog in need of a new lap! Lucky for Mouse, her rescuers could not resist her sad story. Her owner is having brain surgery and will be unable to continue caring for her. This is the second time she has been rehomed in the last five years. Little Mouse is perfectly capable of devoting herself to her new forever person. She bonds quickly and completely.
Mouse is playful and silly, but also well-mannered and easy-going. She prefers not to be left alone much, but isn’t naughty. Mouse is fine with other critters but scared of big dogs. Her ideal home would be with someone retired or working at home, someone who likes to play short games of “get the toy,” or “wrestle with hands,” then spend their remaining time stroking her while she lounges on the couch next to you.
This adorable girl has been doing great with potty manners but like most small dogs, she requires some supervision. She is happy and friendly, treat motivated, loves car rides and leash walks.
Mouse is spayed, vaccinated, and had a dental recently. This young senior can’t wait to meet you!
Mouse is posted for the Western Australian Shepherd Rescue. She is being fostered in Port Angeles, WA. One must have an adoption application on file to meet Mouse. This is not an Old Dog Haven dog. Old Dog Haven has not assessed this dog for medical issues and will not be responsible for medical care after adoption. We urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
