Pansy
Happy girl!

Meet Pansy. Pansy is a very sweet little dog with a mystery past. She was turned in as a stray. Her paper work says “mixed” breed, estimated 13 yrs old. I knew we were off to a good start when she jumped into my car on her own when we first met.
Pansy is a happy dog who rushes outside first thing in the morning to check and see if any blackberries fell to the ground during the night. She loves a walk and a snuggle on her terms. This means that if she wants pets, I should oblige. She has some sensitivities to handling, particularly around her face, which may improve after her much-needed dental.
Pansy is the quietest dog I’ve ever met as long as I’m in the house. She doesn’t bark or whine. She makes little huffing sounds during her dinner dance instead. She has barked exactly once on our walks. Her true voice comes out when I am outside and she is not and stops as soon as I open the door. She is content to be near me and keep an eye on what I’m doing.
