Payton – Adoption Pending

“Hi my name is Payton and I am the cutest Chug (pug/chihuahua) around!  I am 12 years young, 15 pounds and still have a lot of pep in my step!

“My mom got dementia and didn’t recognize me anymore so I came into rescue.  My rescuers have taken great care of me and got rid of 19 rotten teeth!  You know I feel so much better now!  I have some dry eye that I need medication for and my knees are not what they used to be, but none of this stops me from getting around and having fun!

“I have gotten along with all the dogs and cats I have met and I am told I am just a sweetheart.  Also the most important thing is that I am perfectly potty trained!

“I love toys and I can do tricks, but let’s just say I do them if I feel like that…I guess I am a bit of a rebel!  I have the cutest mohawk on the back of my head, and this is the first thing people mention about me, everyone loves it!

“I enjoy getting out and going for walks and I like to ride in the car with you too, so it would be great if I could tag along with you when you go, but I also am a very good girl when left alone.

“I hope someone will want to give a nice girl like me a new retirement home, I promise you won’t regret it!”
