Peanut M

Peanut takes everything in stride.

At 15, he is mostly blind and deaf, but that doesn’t stop him from being a happy and playful little guy!  He settled right in with two other small dogs and a cat, and it seems like he has been in his forever home all along.  He is a champion cuddler.  He enjoys ambling around the yard, smelling the smells and, when inside, he likes to tussle with his dog housemates or play track-that-cat— and take epic naps!  He has found all of the good spots on beds and couches, figuring out safe routes despite being small and not being able to see.

Peanut uses two medications for dry eye (the condition that likely caused his blindness) and these are expensive, but help him enormously. He has a heart murmur and some dental issues that we are working on resolving. We are so grateful to Old Dog Haven sponsors for covering his medical expenses.  He has so much love to give, and adds so much to our little family. We are happy to love him for the rest of his days, and hope there are many.
