Sally
Very sweet and loving her new, forever home
Little Sally ended up at a busy shelter after she was found abandoned in a crate on the side of the road in a desolate area. She was wearing an e-collar, no doubt to keep her from scratching herself, as her skin was red, yeasty, and infected. Sally also was suffering from ear infections in both ears and a very deep ulcer in one eye, which required multiple medicated drops a day.
Sally needed frequent medicated baths to help get her skin healthy and help her to feel more comfortable. She will also need daily prescription eye drops for the rest of her life which will hopefully help reduce the chance of another painful ulcer in her eye.
Sally’s forever foster says she is a really sweet girl, and she fits in wonderfully with the other senior dogs in her Old Dog Haven home. We are so thankful Sally was found so that she could make her way to her forever home and start a brand new chapter of her life. She is now a well-loved dog who will always have a home and the veterinary care she needs for the rest of her life.
Update: Little Sally succumbed to poor health and her fosters sadly had to let her go.
