Samson

Check out handsome Samson! He’s a 100 pound lab mix (we’re told mix but he sure looks like a lot of lab) who is only 8 years old. Sampson is a cuddly dog who if allowed, will climb into bed with you.

Samson sounds like a nice boy who would do best with a dog experienced adopter. He has lived with other dogs and cats. He needs proper introductions when meeting other animals. He doesn’t appreciate unknown, unleashed dogs running up to him and his person.  Samson is a big boy who needs someone able to manage his size and strength firmly but with kindness. Samson is not fond of young children; he needs a home where he is not around young children.

Samson should be adopted by someone who will exercise him daily. He enjoys walks and play time outside in a fenced yard. At this time Samson can manage quite a few hours without needing a potty break. He can do stairs but we’re told he does have some arthritis. A home with someone who can provide him with help for that could help keep him moving well into the future.

Samson does fine being left alone while his people are away. He is able to stay inside his home without any issues. He will bark when the doorbell rings, which is something most dogs do!
