Shadow

Hello I am Shadow…and well I am afraid of my own Shadow! I lived in a home before where I never went anywhere then my owner died, so the world is a terrifying place for me. My foster mom has been very patient with me and I have learned so much in the past month. I am very excited now about life and wanting to learn more, but I appreciate people who go slow with me and are patient.  I am an 8 year old boy.

I have learned to use the steps in the house and I am quite proud of myself! I am still working on my house training and walking on a leash, but I have to say I think I am getting it all down. I live with another dog and I have done just fine having a buddy around. I think having another dog around is helpful to show me the ropes.

I hear there is a whole word of adventure out there just waiting for me! I am tall and have an athletic build so I would be a great partner to take places. I have gotten along great with the other dogs I have met. The best news is, I learned I am really healthy. I got my teeth cleaned so now that feels much better!  I am tall and thin and weigh about 19 pounds.

I am ready and excited for my next life adventure, it will be so fun to be with someone who can teach me things and watch me grow…it will be rewarding I promise!!! Just look how handsome I am in my photos…my confidence is showing through!”
