Sherman came to his Old Dog Haven home the season the Seattle Seahawks won the Superbowl; it was a very good year! He and his best friend Wilson had been living outdoors after being “rescued” from a backyard breeder. One would never guess that Sherman had ever experienced a bad day in his life. He was a happy, friendly, sweet boy who welcomed every person and dog who came into his life with a nudge and he loved to plop himself down on people and other dogs. He had not a shy bone in his body! He loved everyone, but his 2 top favorites were his best friend Wilson and his foster dad.

Sherman had many common pug ailments all of which were taken care of because he was an Old Dog Haven dog. He had the best care and lots of love from everyone who met him.

5 years is a long time in Old Dog Haven years; his fosters know how very fortunate they are that Sherman did so well for so long.  The comfort to Sherman’s foster family is that they believe he has been reunited with Wilson again.  That doesn’t diminish the sadness they feel or the empty spot on the couch next to his foster dad. There is never enough time with these old dogs.
