Adopt Tammy! Tammy is an adorable Shepherd/Lab mix with a dark coat and adorable up-ears. Tammy is a senior gal who is suspected to be about 9-10 years old. Tammy is a big gal as well- weighing in at 94 pounds! This sweet lady wants nothing more than to be right by your side. She is very loving and will lean her whole body against you for pets and snuggles. Tammy is very snuggly and loves being up next to you on the couch or curled up on a dog bed at your feet. Tammy is house trained and an easy-going house guest. She rides well in the car too! Tammy knows how to sit and shake and she takes treats very gently.

Tammy is looking for a loving retirement home (no apartments, condos or townhomes please) in which to live out her golden years. She would do best in a home with no to other pets and with kids over the age of 10. Tammy loves being with her people and can be very stressed when left alone. She would love a family who is home often and can take her along on car rides so she doesn’t have to be left alone. Like most senior dogs, Tammy has some arthritis and joint discomfort in her hind end so she is currently on joint supplements and medication to help with inflammation. If you think Tammy would be the perfect addition to your family, submit an adoption application for her today!

If you’re interested in adopting Tammy, please email a completed adoption application to adoptions@kitsap-humane.org. Adoption applications and more information about the adoption process can be found on the Kitsap Humane Society website here: www.kitsap-humane.org/adopt/how-to-adopt/. Once your application has been received, you will be placed in line to have your application reviewed. All applicants are pre-screened over the phone, and then are scheduled for a time to come in and meet the dog at the shelter.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
