Waldo is a 10-year-old, 26 pound beagle who is true to his hound-y roots!  He is a spry boy who loves to sing for you and play with his dog friends. Upon entry to rescue, Waldo was treated for an ear infection, but he is otherwise in good health for his age. Waldo is microchipped, neutered, and vaccinated as well.

Due to his breed tendencies, Waldo would be best suited for a stand-alone home that does not share walls with neighbors. Not everyone will appreciate his beagle bay! He also needs a yard with a physical fence as hounds love to follow their noses!

Waldo is currently living with dogs of all sizes as well as a cat. He has not spent significant time with children, although the belief is that a home with dog-savvy kids over age 8 would be a possible match.

Waldo has excellent house manners. He does not mark nor has he been destructive. He will be an excellent companion for his forever family! Waldo is ready to go to his adoptive home.

Waldo is cross posted for The Big Dog Rescue Project. He is being fostered in Lakewood, WA. Waldo is available for meet and greets to pre-approved applicants. An application link can be found at www.bigdogrescueproject.org/adopt.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
