Ziti
Personality plus!
Please note: The dogs in ODH's Final Refuge care are not adoptable due to medical reasons and all are in permanent homes. Your sponsorship supports the veterinary expenses for these dogs - and we thank you!
Ziti joined her forever foster family just a little over a month ago. Ziti was an owner surrender at 13 years old. She’d not had much veterinary care, which is often the case with the dogs we bring into our care. We knew she had a history of disc disease, but we did not know that she had kidney disease as well. The kidney disease was found at her intake appointment. Thankfully, Ziti had landed in a home with experience giving SubQ fluids. We were concerned but knew she was in great hands.
Here is what her foster mom shared with us this week:
“Ziti has been with us for almost a month! 8 pounds of pure personality, she fits in perfectly around here. She has some kidney disease issues we are getting under control, and she is doing very well. Ziti is very confident and social with all people and dogs!”
Ziti is living a good life now, with care and a family. She is enjoying her dog companions in her new home and lots of fun family outings. We are so happy for Ziti!
Donations fund Ziti’s veterinary care. Without your support and our forever fosters, Old Dog Haven could not provide for the senior dogs we are contacted about every day.
