Zoey

Zoey is a very sweet, gentle, tenderhearted adorable 8 year old DoxiePoo (dachshund/poodle) who weighs 11 pounds.

Zoey takes a little time to warm up but when she does, her heart blossoms with a fun, loving and playful side. She thoroughly enjoys playing and chasing her foster fur brother and gets the zoomies!! Her nighttime ritual includes a greenie toothbrush which she waits for every night. Her grooming needs include daily brushing and professional haircuts as needed.

Zoey is potty trained however a new transition must be patient as she relearns a new environment. She had a previous injury at a young age which left some nerve loss of her sphincter muscle and may poop unexpectedly. This only happens periodically (especially if she is not taking out regularly). Medically, Zoey does take two easy medications Proin and Bethanechol and for maintenance purposes only, and she receives acupuncture to increase nerve response.

She LOVES her walks, food, treats and belly rubs! Zoey is easy-going, a snuggler and responds beautifully to words of affirmation, positivity and happiness. She does prefer female homes however is male friendly.
